Overview

Destiny's survey and mapping division offers the oil and gas industries quality, accuracy, and innovative technology and processes, with over 15 years of combined experience in survey and geographical information systems (GIS) services. We employ highly trained and experienced professionals, whose integrity and confidence in their work help us focus on quality, efficiency, damage prevention, health and safety management, environmental responsibility, and customer satisfaction.

Through technical innovation and industry-leading survey practices, Destiny's survey and mapping division has increased its capacity and quality using GPS and proprietary UnderCanopyGPS™ survey techniques for point placement, line layout, and final location co-ordinate accuracy.

Operating 130 Leica GPS receivers in North America, we have the technical knowledge, state-of-the-art equipment, and experienced personnel required to conduct any size 2D, 3D, or 4D survey in varied terrain and vegetation cover. Specializing in 3D UnderCanopyGPS™ heliportable operations and GIS services, this division also offers a wide variety of alternate survey and GIS service solutions ranging from bathymetry surveys and integrated GPS/conventional seismic surveys to LiDAR modelling and a wide variety of digital elevation model (DEM) products.

These techniques enable seismic operations to occur with minimal tree cutting, greatly reducing environmental impact, safety risk exposure, and timber damage costs. These types of innovation and quality have established Destiny's survey and mapping division as one of the leading survey contractors in the geophysical industry.
